Just spoke to some of the draftees at work earlier today. One of them offered to draw it, and another one (who is a boilermaker too) to weld it up for me. Now all I have to do is buy the materials :D . I might also do some quick calcs on it to check its strength (I am a structural engineer), and improve on the design a bit. :wink:

I still draw by hand and then digitise the drawing. It takes me half the time. I let the software handle dimensions (assuming I got the drawing right).

Straight into CAD using a digitising palatte. Basically I am redrawing it but I know its correct.
