so heres the story, my brakes got real bad so i had to fix them and that was pretty annoying but now they are good and im real happy with them 8) BUT i didnt tighten up the left front hand side wheel nuts properly and 5 days later (after driving more than an hour a day) my car starts makin this funny noise... "oh well, it always makes a noise kinda like that, its just a bit louder, i'll check it out when i get home" ***3 nuts left***

a few minutes later it gets a little noisier "im going to pull into maccas which is a minute down the road and check it out" ***2 left***

SHAKING LIKE A BITCH "f#&k pull over now" ***1 very loose nut away from self destruction***

so now i pull 1 nut off each other tyre and put it on so im running 4 on that and 3 on all others. and my car makes this stupid noise... is this because of the 3 on each tyres? i hope so cause im pissed off about this crap happenin.

1 week later (yesterday) i hadnt had time to get new ones and i pull into a carpark after driving from being parked outside of the uni to inside the uni (1 minute drive) and a guy says "yo my nigga u seen that tyre on yo backside?" (he didnt talk anything like that and he was fully australian i just added it for ur amusement) and i check it and my tyre has a huge hole in it! luckily it had a tiny bit of air in it so it wasnt scraping the rim... luckily as i went over about 10 speed bumps... and didnt even notice???

so this guy who we shall call "kanye west" had sum english car with a v6 i think and its cool and he got his MEGA jack out cause i only have a crap one that comes with the mini and WTF is with that? i mean its a peice of junk, and i was on real bumpy ground so i coudlnt use it. and he lifted the back of my mini with his bulging ronnie colman muscles. and then my spare is a little flat (8psi ???) and it doesnt fit on properly with the nuts, its junk.

so yesterday i hated my car. today i have went and got new wheel nuts from newcastle mini and they r nice and shiny and im gettin a new tyre $115 CRAZY money.

did i mention i have to register my car in 2 weeks and i also have an exhaust leak, few unworking lights, bucket seats that i put in that i HOPE they ignore... GEEEZ when i get it past rego ima be so happy.

end note. I LOVE MY MINI.

Sorry, am I understanding this right: You drove around with two wheel nuts holding your wheels on. Then put a couple more on and drove some more? There's four nuts on each wheel for a reason - they're not "spares" in case you lose some.

I think your car is a normal mini, but you need to think long and hard about your mechanical ability and common sense with regard to safety. I'd also be wary about carrying passengers, especially in the seats you have fitted.

I don't normally criticise people but none of what I read sounds remotely like responsible car ownership. I would seriously advise that you get a mechanic to check out your car thoroughly, for your own safety and the safety of others on the road.

I agree... but i also would like to ad that you are a very amusing writer. I enjoyed reading your post even though i was shocked at the things you said you did to your poor little car. :P
