I am going to u-pullit this weekend, fathers day treat :D

Anyway, I'm gonna get me one of them pulsar dizzies and coil, obviously I will get them from a pulsar.

I also want to get a thermo fan to go in my clubby under the wheelarch, what would be a good car to get this from?

Also, I want to fit a radiator expansion tank, can I get this from any car? Will I have to put a Mini rad cap on it to get the right pressure or will anything do?

Cheers all

Rick

I'm running a Pulsar thermo fan & cowl under the guard.
(at least I think it came of a Pulsar... got Jap writing on it)

Best overflow is the metal one of some mokes or Morris / Austins that mounts up on the firewall. The mini radiator cap goes on it & a blanking cap goes on the radiator instead of the normal cap. Happy hunting

As for the thermo fan, the Search is your friend. 8)

Pulsar dizzy needs to come from an N12, 1.6L Nissan motor one, or the Holden Astra equivalent.

NOT the later 1.8L ones with the GM Family II motor..

Had a great time at the wreckers Sunday morning, came home with:

Pulsar D4R85 Dizzy together with the coil
Thermo fan (from a small ford not sure which)
Radiator expansion tank from a Morris 1100 (metal one that the Mini rad cap fits)
A set of airhorns I couldn't resist :D
And a Ford Falcon 15" rim with good tyre (this was for a mate)

$70 the lot :D how good is that!!

Happy days ahead fitting all of my new toys.

Rick
