I fiu had the money for a new clutch and all the bits to fix it up and could garantee I could be there I would be entering my LS Clubbie. AS I've yet to dyno her and have absolutly no idea what I'd be looking at as a figure in HP. But when I do get around to fixing my clutch I will wack her on the dyno and see how she performs.

Out there today sorting out location and set up details. Hopefully everything will work out and I can have some confirmed details and entry forms sorted. It's probably time to start the discussion of how many classes we should run and what they should be. I'd like to keep it down to 5 or 6 at the very most - Including one booby prize - I'm going to steal the name of that award from the Dyno day that Brad organised.

I see it something like this.

Hybrid / Turbo A Series
A Series Race Cars (as there will be a lot of race cars coming)
A Series Road Cars - Big Block
" " - Small Block
The Little Engine that Couldn't

Feedback/Suggestions appreciated

All sounds good MrBob, one question though...

The people that fill in the Dyno entry forms now, will they have preference over people coming on the day and signing up for Dyno.

I've never done this kind of thing before so excuse mylack of knowledge.

Yes anyone who pays a deposit and gets an advance entry in will have first preference. But I'm sure we will have plenty of time for walk-ups as well - we have the dyno there for a day and a half. We went out there today and nutted out almost all of the details - just waiting on a couple of minor things and I should have an entry form up mid next week!! 8) 8) 8) 8) 8) 8)

No - I have another business now. They were more reasonable with the cost, more flexible with the arrangements and have done several shows before. They have a large cage made for their Dyno for taking to shows, and seem like really nice, genuine guys. They 're being very helpful with the organisation of the whole thing, and may even be putting up a prize - more details to come. - watch this space...........................................................

MrBob,

have the entry forms for the dyno been organised yet???

Also i think some names should be removed from the list as many have dropped out since this was last posted...

*MDU Dyno Challenge*

We have organized a Mobile Dyno to come to the show and run a horsepower competition for any Mini’s at the show to participate in. It will be similar to the Horsepower Heroes competition run at the Summernats. Your car will be inspected for safety then run on the Dyno by the operators to measure horsepower. Trophies will be awarded for the highest power in the categories listed in the ENTRY FORM (we reserve the right to combine categories that don’t have many entrants).

The entry fee will be $50. Advance entrants will be asked to pay a $25 deposit to secure their place. Advance entries with deposits will be given preference over cars turning up on the day. Cars entering the show and shine will be able to run on Saturday, and any others will be able to run either Saturday or Sunday. Any cars driving dangerously or spinning wheels etc on the grass areas will be excluded from the event with no refunds. Non Mini’s can be run on the Saturday Subject to availability. Non Mini’s will not be eligible for Trophies. The A-Series Small and Big Block categories are for road cars only. Participants will be asked by the Dyno operators to sign a disclaimer form on the day.

The official entry form is now available on the MCC NSW website.

Please go to: www.miniclub.com.au/minisdownunder.html and download the PDF entry form.

OK so we have the entrant form but i am still usure when the main competition for it will be?

is it Sat or Sun? show and shine entrants can do either sat or sun but what if your not in the sho wand shine?

I think the Sunday would be the best day for it?
