Aubergine went to the doctors to get somethings fixed and came back worse than she went away with i am not a happy person i have had to borrow a vehicle (not a mini) from friends so i can go to work till i get it right again dont you just love the people that say i can do this and i can fix that and stuff everything else up.

My mechanic (me) went to put a new diff in my car (this has taken almost a year). Finally got the gaskets/goo, bolt the housing on and off wee go!!!

Of course then i realised that i had forgotten to fit the diff inside!! :D

i think that should go in the most embarrasing thing i have done but that is sooooo funny

That is gold - absolute pearler...at least there was no damage done(except pride) and we are all better for the effort in that we laughed about it.

Would have been funny seeing you sitting in the garage scratching your head wondering why you are doing 3000rpm in 4th and not going anywhere...
