so tomorrow my rego runs out and i wanted to fix my exhaust leak before i got rego check (i put it off this late cause i been busy with uni this week and my b'day and the hunter mini run on the weekend) and so i took it in today to a place and i just got it back. and the guy was like "well i tightened it up but its all loose everywhere else and its rattling and sumthing about gettin all new crap" and i was like "oh ok how much do i owe u" then he replies "nothing, its free" so im thinkin this is either good for me or bad??? why free? nothings free, i dont even know the guy.

so i get in the car, it barely starts and i hear sum weird noise i've neva heard then it stalls out, then i start it up again, drive off and i know what he's talkin about it being loose, its clangin a little bit wheneva i go over a bumps and wheneva i stop at the lights it stalls, and to add to this i was next to a cop at the lights and couldnt start the damn thing :P luckily i got it goin and drove the 2 minute drive home and into the garage where i'll let it rest until i can get my uncle to look at it tonight and see whats goin on...

the strange thing is the engine sounds really good, with a very mellow purrrrrrrrr. too bad its all bangin everywhere and wants to stall all the time. oh well, i guess u get what u pay for  now how am i gonna pass rego tomorrow?

oh and also when i parked my car at uni today i looked at sum1's rego sticker next to my car and theres ran out over a month ago  that made me feel a little better, but still i dont wanna risk it, im not made of money

This guy (who "fixed" the exhaust) sounds like a bloody moron to me. You take it in to get fixed, then he goes nah can't fix it... It sounds like just a bracket or soemthing, and if he can't fix that, then he's "el moronico"...

Although, your car isn't starting very well... I bet the fool mucked around with your carby manifold and extractors/exhaust manifold. Maybe he broke the gasket. Dunno, but he should have fixed it.
