You get some really strange blends about. I've found an ethanol blend keeps my 1100 running cooler. At the start my filter kept filling with crap it had raised from the water film in the bottom of the tank but after that smooth sailing. Optimax seems to have a high level of detergents in it. 8000 seems to run me cooler like the ethanol blend I run.

Just went and got some BP premium (95 RON) from my local servo. No dramas, can't really tell the difference between it an Optimax (better than normal unleaded though!). I must admit I was a bit thrown when the lady came out and pumped my petrol for me. Canberra is really just an overgrown country town Wasn't that stoked with it personally, not in *my* Mini, where I have to add flashlube etc, prefer to pump my own petrol.

I asked her about Ultimate, and she said they wont be stocking it unless there is a demand for it. Which there isn't, besides me and the guy with the MGB up the road....
