i was told at the tyre shop that those dunlops are only good for 7-10,000k's road use and 6,000k's track use....true? i dont know i havnt had them

I'm getting pretty good mileage out of my A008's and I reckon there all right, good grip and good in wet weather. Still got heaps of tread on them and I put them on in January.

Having said that my old hard (cheap) Bridgestones only lasted me about 9,000km's, I'm sure that if I didn't drive like a maniac I'd get HEAPS more out of them.

My A008's cost me $114 / tyre.

I doubt that you would get 6,000km on the track with R's. I used to kill them in 6 hours.

Well in the 3 1/2 yrs my car has been on the road its only done a little over 10,000k's. So hopefully these tyres should last me another 3 1/2 years!!!!!!!
