on the oil filter holder, there is the pipe that goes from the top end of motor to the oil filter, now at the oil filter end of pipe there is a threaded thingo that joins the pipe end to the filter housing, i need this threaded thingo, and was wondering if anyone had any ideas on where i can source this at this hour of the day?

You are after a flare nipple to suit the pipe, with a `1/4 BSP male' thread to screw into the filter.
Easiest solution- go to Pirtek or EnZed and take the pipe...

note a 1/4" BSP thread is much bigger diameter than 1/4"- as it's a pipe thread it's sized by the bore of the pipe.

ie. a 1" pipe is much bigger outside than 1".
