...so what youre saying is that the nut that locks the cable to the linkage is FIXED and not free spinning??????????

Its a 10 minute modification (including drinking time)

You need to modify it so that it becomes a free spinning shaft in the linkage, that way it can always point at the cable entry location..... just like on push bike caliper brakes :wink:
