Hi people,

On the 14th of Nov we are going to be having a mini drive day/lunch. We will be meeting in sydney, at a krispy kreams/maccas on the cumberland hwy liverpool at around 8-9am sunday morning on the 14th where we will then take off west (waragamba) for the day and having lunch up there and returning in the afternoon. So far we have around 8-10 minis confirmed, including mine (starlet gt mini), 2 turbo minis, gti mini,a couple of 1380's, and few standards.

This is a leisurely drive, so any mini is welcome, there will be a few that will take the minis to the limit and some that will just cruise behind, so all levels of mini and driver is welcomed. There is a thread in the cruise section of this forum so if your interested please reply in there.

thanks,
brad.

Nothing set in stoen yet, I think Keb knows some good roads up the mountains. I think initially it was suggested a short run and BBQ for a chin wag aver lunch and organisation of the following weekends canberra run.

I'm thinking maybe the Krispy Kream on cumberland highway would be a better meeting point but I have no idea where it is, anyone know?

yep short run upto a bbq area sounds the go, anyone know any nice bbq areas out there?

Krispey kreams liverpool is right next door to the macdonalds on the cumberland hwy. It is across the rd from the big woolworths fuel station.

Coming from north you go thru cabramatta rd and it is just 1 km down the rd on the left.

Coming from the south you turn left off the hume hwy onto orange grove rd (cumberland hwy) and it is 1km up the rd on the right.

It is on Viscount Place Warwick Farm.

Well I go back to my original idea of a run out to Warragambah Dam. It's a good run, still central for those heading north and SOuth and there are BBQ areas, heaps of parking and easy to find if you get lost.

So, can we all agree on a meeting point and say it's 100% warragamba Dam? I just thought of Krispy Kreams as a meeting point because I LUUUUUUVV Krispy Kreams. But if it McDonalds that's OK. DO you think Casula is central for everyone? - then how do we get to Warragamba from there?

Ok warragamba is the destintaion then 100%.

Metting place is krispy kream / mcdonalds (they are side by side) at viscount place warwick farm (liverpool).

To get from there to waragamba we jump onto cabramatta rd and follow that to elizabeth drive.

That gets us all the way to the northern rd.

We go left onto that and then righ onto park rd, that takes us to wallacia.

then we take silverdale rd to warragamba, from there i dont know where you go.

james the meeting point should be easy for you to find. Just hop on the cumberland hwy of the freeway (f3) and follow it all the way till you see a krispy kream and macdonalds side by side.

trust me if you can see the intersection of cabramatta rd and cumberland hwy in a street directory you will be fine.

Ok guys this idea sounds sweet as..
Finding the Krispy Kreame or The big M'S is easy as, they are both right near the mega center there, also near the Office works, it is right accros from the woolworths petrol station which is on the old golf course
So is this run for certain?

The run is a 100% goer.

I sugest smaller convoys, Guys up north pick a meeting point Same with Sydney guys. Gius from South I say meet at the Maccas on the cnr of the highway and heathcote road. This way we can head off down heathcote road towards Cumberland highway.

SO 1 MEETING POINT IS MACCAS HEATHCOTE.

OTHERS - POST YOUR MEETING POINT.

SO WHAT TIME ARE WE MEETING AT MACCAS / KRISPY KREAMS LIVERPOOL?

yep 8am to 9am sounds fine to me, give people heaps of time to get there. that way we should get to a picnic area around 11-12 and have a couple of snags and a chinwag.

P.S bring a little esky with a couple of snags and a couple of Beverages.
