Do you really think if i ring up the police station / CSI people they will have a look and maybe they can identify them if they are regular vandalisers?
I might give it a go, thanks Ziz and screech

Betty,

When you reported this to the police, did they organise to have your car fingerprinted? If you can get a copy of the video file to me I can take it to work and have some of the secret squirrels take a look at it for me. I have access to some things others may not have.

Cheers,

Scott

Shite! I haven't been around Ausmini much lately, I just sat down to see what I'd been missing out on. Sorry to hear about Betty Emm, I have a copy of her portrait on my wall and feel I know her well. Can't believe people would do that, hope she's back on the road soon.

Anyway, on an update

but that doesnt matter, the assessor will come and assess.
She might get written off
I will reveal all tomorrow when i ring up Shannons.

Show the assessor the painting of Betty it might help them to see how much you love her and they won't right her off.

I'd love to do another portrait of Betty. :D

i had an assessor come and look at my swift GTI the other week when someone hit it in a carpark and cracked the rear & front bumpers. Basically he took the cost of what it could be salvaged for away from the value or what its insured for, and whatever is left is what you have to fix the car. Any more and its written off. So my quote was for $3200, so it would have been a write off. However the guy went over the quote and took out some of the extra costs (repaired instead of a new one), and it ended up coming to $2500, therefore was fixed and not written off. See what they can do for you, they might be able to make it work.
And i was insured with Shannons also.

thanks minibob!

yeah kittykat,i'm with shannons also
Good to hear your car did not get wirtten off !

the assessor just came and went.
he said the quote was pretty nasty (as in $$$)
So i am getting another quote from another smash repairer.
And will see how things pan out from there.

I have salvage rights also
(thanks chris for putting it on for me :D)
but the assesor claims i dont :x
so now eveyrhting is so messy.

and none of this is my fault!
i have to pay for somebody else's f**ked up actions and inconveience myself with it.
