Hey Chong, from that article it was clear the super pipes were good on the small bore motor... it wasn't my reaction to extrapolate that they would be good on a bigger motor. But I guess you have it from the horses mouth?

Whats the price?
Who's the supplier?
Who do I give my credit card details to, to order a set? :P

Settle down... the mere mention of HP and you guys are a pack of vultures  :P

The fact is, Graham doesn't know how they will go on a big bore. He has never tried them. Mine will be the first big bore to try them.

willy: supplier: Graham Russel. They are CUSTOM made to graham's specs. No one else carries them. He has only a hand full. Give graham a call. If he realises it's you he will raise the price    Just kidding

We will try these vs Maniflow big bore and small bore and big bore 3 into 1. Needless to say it will be a long dyno day

pfft, big bores! What are you compensating for

Well done mate... I'd move your engine though... I had PLENTY of access to it when I was there... muhahaha

I do wish Lillee was ready for MDU though... would have been nice to see there.

Peter.

you say the torque curve is the most important factor here well i think you may be suprised to find that graham russels cams dont have a torque curve at all. only a TORQUE LINE, everyone of his cams i have used and dynoed have just been a straight line not a curve as you see on the uk dyno sheets.
where did you get the metro head from???????
i hope my oneis still sitting on grhaams bench ready to be ported for my race motor in the very near future.lol

i've lost track of my head (Graham seems to know where it is, or maybe he is just bluffing) which i left there around April or May i think, but i know where my valves, springs and manifold are. and i found my flywheel and pressure plate last friday after it went "missing" for a few weeks

Chong spends more time with Graham than his wife does atm  every time i go over i see Chongs smiling face :P

From the sprite engine we watched on the dyno on friday, there is a lot in having the right distributor, and it not being worn, and Graham has his own opinions on the "best" distributor as well. Might be another article just in that.....
