Why'd I buy that green thing??...It was actaully worse than what it looks like in that pic, that pic makes it look like an OK heap of crap. Now its a good piece of non-shit. 8) That's my dad's clubby in the background BTW!

Allthough the "Brian Foley" strips in the before image look good they actually looked like they were put on by a 6yr old.

I normally do small thumbnails linked to offsite pictures so the pages load faster..... but since nobody else is, I'm gonna go crazy and load some big 600pxx450px ones   hehe

OK then..

These are the only 2 minis I have at the moment.

Mini #1, aka "Supercharged 850"

The day I bought it.

Sportspacks on the white car.... I cut about 35mm off the whole wheel arch. and then bent another 10mm of the guard upwards to form the 90 degree lip (as per normal panels). So there is about 45mm more clearance all up.

Black car has Group 5's and about the same amount of clearance.

The white car could use a bit more cutting at the very front to stop rubbing on hard turning.

The trick is to fit the spotrtspack arches first, fit the wheels, set the suspension height, then chop the guard as required. You can usually remove most of the guard right up to the arch mounting nuts if necessary. Just remember to leavce 10mm of steel to form the lip (or else the sharp edge could cut into the tyre)
