Do you realise that the DSE digital tacho is a KIT which you have to assemble the components in the PCB yourself?

Not sure about the speedo, but the tacho should work no pronlems, it should wire into the coil to get it's signal...

I'm thinking I might give this digital tacho kit a go!

They are $37.50 from DSE.

Those kind of kits can be built with a little patience and an instruction sheet. Most kits come complete with the PCB, components and instrucions... If they don't supply the PCB then you'll have to make it and that is NOT simple.

I have built up a few kits previously, they are fiddly but not impossible!

Try this place http://www.dakotadigital.com/ a touch more expensive but heaps of very cool stuff and complete kits that only need hooking up to your car.

I was thinking of getting one of those... does the sender fit where the normal speedo cable goes or does it get it's pulses from somewhere else?
