lots!!! :D

there are a few people on here that can answer that for you, I am just about
to run out and if no one has when i get home ill fill u in!!

basically they were a limited edition mini clubman released in 1976 and there were 500 made. they had special features such as tinted windows. cloth seats heated rear window am.fm casette player, chrome exhaust extension, s.e.v. marchal 850gt driving lights and came in mettalic paint with a vinyl roof to top it off.

they were released to get rid of hail damaged clubmans... but spawned the production of the permant 998 LS.
\
there were some other features there as well,, i think it was 14 luxo features all up.. oh also centre roof aerial and a few other trinkets

should look very very similare to one of these (this is a 998LS tho)

How do you know its an SS?
Do you have pics anywhere?
What 'mods' are done?
Has anything been replaced you know of?

the car hasn't been registered since 1980. wouldn't be surprised if something had gone missing. if i can i'll have a little look see at it when sonsta does.

sonsta, give me a call when you arange a time to look at it, i know i'm going away soon, and working tons, but probly be best if our combined knowledge of minis is used to look at this ss.

I'll comment on the paperweights.

Any chance you have a copy of A Boot Full Of Right Arms, also by Evan Green? I'd love to get a copy, or borrow a copy to read.

Cheers,
Watto.

Nope , it's the only one of Evans mainstream(not counting his car make books , I have "journeys with Gelignite Jack" and all his fiction that I am aware of ) books I haven't got unfortunately , and every time one goes on ebay everyone else is after it too ....

Bugger!

I'll keep looking.

In case anyone is wondering, it is about him driving a Leyland P76 in the World Cup Rally (winning the Targa Florio section outright by the way). He said every time he told people where he was going they said they would give their right arm to be able to go too - hence the name of the book.

Cheers,
Watto.
