 Post subject: Bottom radiator hose

how hard is it to get the bottom hose on to the water pump. As I had unbelieveable trouble :?

Bottom Rad hose dos not go onto the water pump...but anyway yes its a sod of a job...mainly due to people putting the hose clips on in a impossible possition to undo ...otherwise a nice big long screwdrive is the very handy and a long arm ready for some bloody also helps

it goes from the engine to the bottom of the radiator It was an utter ning nong to get on to the barb hence I had to make up an adaptor. The hose clamps were easy to get off you need a socket about 7mm or 5/16 :wink:

I'm sorry, but in what way does the bottom hose not go to the water pump??!

its not that hard if your put it on the pump side first, then modify the rad cowling so that you can put the clip on the bottom tank in the rad
