All right, you can tease me about my car, you can tease me about my hairstyle, you can even tease me about my slight asian apearance but lets not get into any conversations about my wife!!! Please!!!

Just cause you're all jealous!   8)

Special treatment? i did alot of the work actually... even if I say so myself... Graham showed me where to take off weight on one rod, i did the other 3. Graham showed me how to put one valve back together, i did the other 7. Graham showed me how to put one piston ring in, I did the other 11, graham showed me how to assemble one rod onto the crank, i did the other 3...

I guess since I did alot of the work I get a discount, yes... Although I think he charges a PREMIUM for questions  "Costs alot for him to do it, costs even more if you ask questions too"

At least I can say if it falls apart, i only have myself to blame

yeah i see Chong doing all the work on his own motor, but hes also "helping" Graham with other customers bits and pieces. No wonder he is paying so much for the questions

seriously though, it is a great way to learn, as i have done essentially the same as Chong, but he is more persistent and is therefore finishing earlier

he took ages on that timing cover to get it soooooo bling.

cheers
michael

my head was red and not cracked. we only sell cracked heads to ozzies and send them over cheap.
I left mine there last november.
i think i know where it is and i have no hassles with grahams place as i know exactly where it will be in another years time when i go back to pick it up.
it will be right where i left it.

I havent even had time to put my motor together yet.

I got 27.1hp on the dyno today at MDU  She was running REALLY rich all the way up  . No idea what's wrong... She's had a good run! 3 years of my thrashing the crap out of her with wrong timing, loose harmonic balancer etc.

Oh well, that's the FINAL run for this 1152cc. She's been rock solid and I cannot fault her one bit. I will feel quite sad when I dismantle her this week :(

Chong's jets were checked correct on GR's mobile A/F meter not long ago.

IMO the dyno dude tromped on the throttle hard at idle, the 45 Dellorto fuelled the motor up, and it never cleared its throat.
Chong's wasn't the only one that exhibited this phenomenon.

Nah, I'm a Dellorto dude, and my Dellorto car idles better than our twin SU one does..
But the 1412 in my wife's van will have a single HS6. Why? so she can do roundabouts at 40 KMH in 4th, then nail it. 8)
