Tip for anyone showing their car on Saturday, go out and buy a Parramatta Eels jersey (they're cheap at this time of the year, normally go on sale in August :P ) and leave it casually across the back seat so the judge knows your allegiance.

If i see a Mini with a North Sydney Bears jersey in / on / over it, it will get my vote for Car Of The Show! 8)

especially since he's judging GT's

Yes, and for the record there is only 5 GT's entered (1 dropped out - Elle's white GT - don;t know why). You all want to know why there are only 5 entered? Because TODAY they would be the rarest Mini produced. Yes, they allegedly made 1000, but that was 35 years ago and somewhere in time it was fashionable to strip them for their 'Cooper S' running gear. :x

I will also judge another category on the day, and it may well be one of those round front things caetgories!

Make sure you get some pics/details of any that aren't accounted for Anton.

 of course! I will be photographing as I judge.

I am told there is a 71 Gambier Turquoise GT entered. No it's not mine.....

Chris, I just KNEW you would chime in with something on the Sunshines. My mum, of all people, saved your 'CARS GUIGE' article on MDU. I see you were promoting the Sunshine cause in there as well!

Who's showing their car on Saturday?

I am one of the judges....muah ha ha ha

For a weekend that seems to be attracting 100's of Minis there's not many entered in the Show 'n' Shine. Only around the 50 mark.

Maybe we should go back to just having a display day. There's plenty of folk bring there Minis just for displaying.

There is some nice shwag to be picked up for those entering.

Hope you all enjoy the event programme. Many a late night spent finishing it off last week. You may also spot the odd Ausmini car pic in there.

Nope. Have a husband who is working nightshift all weekend, got to take son to cricket on Saturday morning, plus I feel I've made a big contribution to the event in the way of the programme.

We'll be there on Sunday for a look see.

Rae mentioned a few days ago there were around 50 entries...........I stand corrected :D
