and on that note, goodbye to the 1310, it struggled valiantly along with me to avoid embarrassment at the dyno day, and now its gone, and not a moment too soon...

normally you hit your head on the roof in the mini as you hang on for dear life!

Yep... this happens. You get behind the wheel of a car other than a Mini and you are like "so comfy", "so reliable" blah blah blah. Then after a few weeks you hop back behind the wheel of a Mini and then you are like "i'm such an idiot, this is just right!".

well i can say my 1132 needs no work at all and could take a moderate amount of boost easy.

the 1310 is well... poo.
but only a rebuild away from being good

i voted to s/c tha 1132. reasons being:

if for some reson it goes bang, things like rods and blocks
are far easier to come by for replacement

It is already a good strong motor

I like small bores

a supercharged 1310 would be a weapon, would u need that
much power??? PLUST u need to rebuild it first.. it just ecomes
too expensive, when the 1132 would be just as fun (just not as quick)
but still blardy fast
