read the rta advice sheet referenced, print it out and take it with you to the blueslipper. Show him you have read the rules and complied with them and he won't have any issues.
I am on an rta guidelines warpath now. no one seems to read the rules that are freely available, not even the bloody rta. infact everyone here who thinks that you need an engineers certificate to put a 1275 in
any mini should read what i said at the above link. there is a lot of misinformation going about based on rumour and myth and someones vague memories of what some mate of a mate did 20 years ago. stop it. stop it now. read the guidelines and if your opinion is different to mine, then show me in the guidelines where it contradicts my opinion and i will acknowledge that i was wrong. in the meantime, change engines to your hearts content and get them blueslipped hassle free, but not because i say so, but because the rta guidelines say so.
