Depending on the age it's either stamped on the ID plate , or if it's late in the mini K run it was a sticker in the engine bay I think . I don't think it was stamped on the compliance plates when they got them (what yours has by the looks of the numbers) but could be wrong . Be a matter of checking for the colour somewhere it's normally not repainted (behind dash trim, under hood lining , under C panel trims if you think it's been repainted and can't find an original bit) and seeing what colour was used that year that matches .

Ok , does it look to have been resprayed at any stage or does it all match ? Have you got a clear photo of the colour in good light ?

I'll post this link again here before I forget it , it's the paint codes and years for mini colours , not entirely sure of it's accuracy but might be a good starting point . If you can narrow the colour down (blue or black ?) , then ask people to post pics of their cars in the appropriate colours and see what's close .

Your car has a compliance plate (the numbers 2-3-4-5a-7- -10a-15-20 are the Australian Design Rules that the car was built to comply with) Because your car has a compliance plate it would have had a sticker with the name of the colour and the brand of paint.

If you can find a bit of original paint you could try matching it with .....
