A lot of opinions and posts on this one, try having a look using the search option. I'm pretty sure you'll find plenty of recent stuff on these carpets.

I've had them before, and they're fine enough for a standard daily runner carpet. Don't go the fluffy type though, it balls up and looks pretty gross pretty quickly. Also holds dead grass in it's clutches like you wouldn't believe...

I put a set in my `70 car 10 years ago, their standard ones wear pretty well.
But now I've worn a hole next to the tunnel with my clutch foot, and I want a new set- black this time!

These carpets not bad either- http://www.tru-fitcarpets.com.au/
Neither these nor the Knox ones are original type though, both are stuck down onto floor with contact adhesive. At least they stay there...

knox website here- http://www.knoxautocarpets.com.au/

I've used both brands, they are very similar.

I put a set in yesterday (from Knox), thought I'd go all the way with the super plush type and found that the amount of fluff coming off them was incredible. Had to do a lot of chopping to get them to fit properly (around the gear stick, handbrake, seat rails, etc.

For the price they werent too bad, I also got the sound matt stuff which was really thick, but it did the job very well.

yep i have moulded carpets from knox in my car. they are ok but if you are aftet a really good finish go for the mini carpet kits from the mini suppliers (sometimes they advertise on ebay) The multi piece kits fit heaps better.

My moulded carpets are wearing well however after about 6 years they still look really good. The do curl up however where the front piece meats the back piece and they were a real bitch to fit. esspecially the seat mounts.

If you do decide to get them make sure when you put the underfelt down make sure you cut a section out to clear where the steering column meets the floor or it will end up winding itself around your column making it imposible to get full pedal movement on the clutch and brake.

good luck
Daniel

I got carpet from them and put it in my LS Clubbie. Only thing I had to do was cut out a bit for the gear stick/knob.

I'd give you a pic but the interior piccies I have dont do the carpet justice as that photo itself concentrates more on my seats and dash.

can take a pic if needed.
