Greetings,

Confusion reigns (in my head!) about the differences between the two types of Mini Cooper S wheels. As I understand it, the normal S wheels have the narrow tyre surface on the outside and maybe stamped LP883. The reverse wheels (to allow non spaced drums to look like an S) have the wide tyre surface on the outside and may be stamped LP918.

Can someone confirm this or not? The reason I'm looking for this is because I've seen some wheels on eBay that claim to be standard but may be reversed. And I'm looking for some standard wheels.

Cheers, Keith.

Yes, the standard Cooper S 2.5" wheel has the narrow bead outside, the wide one inside.
Good condition stock Cooper S wheels are worth good $$ now.
