It has probably been said elsewhere, but it deserves it's own thread.

A HUGE CONGRATS TO EVERYONE who helped organise, judge, promote, participate, direct, sponsor, etc....

The whole weekend took an ENORMOUS amount of work from a lot of people. ALL those involved deserve a pat on the back and a BIG THANKS.

WELL DONE! It was a brilliant weekend for Mini lovers! 8)

HEY Jimbo......just you wait till GAFMO Jnr and possibly GAFMO Jnr II are a little older....

I spent more time today watching my 2 kids on the friggin jumping castle than I did appreciating the fine Mini's in the pavillion. I am sooooo glad I went on Saturday BY MYSELF to look at the cars! :x

Location: Sydney - strangely, I am glad of the sight of hills!!
311 in the carpark last time i asked.

Yep congratulations to all involved in the organising.

To single out a couple for special mention,

Rae for being the driving force behind it.
Joan for just doing her usual super organising thing
Chris for being the dynamo promotions guy that he is
Grant (AWOODY) and Loray for their brilliant shownshine efforts
Bob (MrBob) for the dyno, mate you were definitely vindicated.
Everyone else on the commitee or who just showed up to help at various stages (you know who you are.
All the judges on saturday
All the entrants - without them it is just an empty pavilion
The sponsors
Everyone who had their car in the carpark
Everyone who did not have a car in the carpark but came anyway.

oh well i guess that is actually everyone

cheers
michael

Channel 10 ran a story on some Holden car show......and NOTHING on MDU.

Did any of the other TV channels run a story on it?

yep, and that was annoying as they were faxed a media release, and i phoned them (twice) and they assured me that they would love to come out and do a report on it for the news.....

I hate all forms of Media after being the promotions guy for this event.

the only helpful ones were from the telegraph and the herald and SOME local papers....
