What's it like off the mark?

its really good of the line. i took it to bathurst this yr from coffs harbour and it pulled up all the mountains in top gear no worries, i was stoked with how good it went.

My name is Matthew I'm 26 and I live in Adelaide. I have had a few minis over the past 5 or so years. First it was a Leyland Mini Sunshine then a 68 Morris Mini K van and now a 66 Morris Mini Deluxe. I've never had the pleasure of registering any of my minis however the Deluxe is very close.

Hi my name is Jason from Rouse Hill and am new to the world of minis, I bought my first mini two and a half years ago (1966 deluxe) which had been stripped down to a shell and left in a garage for 15 years by previous owner, have spent last two and a half years rebuilding it.

HI all, Matt here.
Sydney Southwest. Have had a few mini / moke over the years but have only recently got back to it again. Now have a lovely cream 850 with a black lid. Inside fully redone just the mechanics to go. It has a rock solid 998 which will be getting some treatment over the upcoming months but for now I just enjoy it as an evryday driver (almost everyday), and that was the idea in the first place. Great fun to drive and even more fun to drive well!
Get a lot of comment from people on the roads, all positive. Well I think its all positive. You cant really tell what some people are thinking when they cant stop smiling.

Now, about that meeting in 5 dock this friday. When and where? I grew up in Five Dock, terrorised the streets as a younger lad with my 1275 Californian with a not so standard 1275 in it.

The meetins is on Queens Road in Fivedock, just near the bently show room. get there at 7.30 for a 7.45 start and ask someone to point out Chris the Promotions guy and Ill introduce you to a few people to make you feel at home!!

I know exactly the place your talking about. Unless it has all moved there used to be a place down there on Queens Rd where several Car or Motorcycle clubs held their meetings. I reckon that would just about across the road from the Bentley Showroom. I should get back into town around six. Quick drive home and get changed and I will see how I'm travelling.
