that's Ben - username 92 on here..... it's a beautiful conversion

those GT's made me drool too - the green one with no stripes was a NSW highway patrol car when it was new, the owner had the unrestored MK2 that I'm in love with.... which is in 'as it left the factory' condition - the bootlid doesn't fit properly, there's a factory depression around the top right door hinge, a different heater because they ran out of the standard MK2 S ones at the end of the production run.... interestingly there are no glue stains, my theory is that cars that spend a lot of time out in the sun get the roof lining stains from the glue melting through

When are you coming back choppy?

I remember you said you would be back probably in time to fit my stripes. At the time I though 'no way'....but I think you were right.

The stripes maketh the GT. 8)

Those GTs look awesome! I used to have a granny spec S clubbie, sadly she had an arguement with a 4wd..
A lot of people still diss the clubbies but presented with those i don't reckon anyone could.[/b]

i loved the gambia one, its was great, but yeah it needed the GOLD GT stripes
i think.

I love the space blue gt with the kid skin interior tho, that was the best GT there. and would of been the car that i drove home if i had the choice of any of them :D
