There was a really nice red mini with a black roof in one of the English mags ages ago that had a weber box fitted. It had the speedo along with the tacho and the rest of the gauges housed in a works style dash panel behind the steering wheel. I think it looked pretty good. The weber box actually came back as far as where the original speedo face would be.

It is pretty long, will just fit with a Weber or Dellorto and NO filter, if you have the std hole in the firewall. I had to trim the edge of hole to fit the corner of the carb in.
If a late Clubby and no hole there, no way will you fit it without cutting a hole. Make it a big one...
NOTE WHERE THE SPEEDO CABLE AND NUT IS...

can you get away with that with pink slip, i dont like the idea about the battery box in the fire wall, kev or "1310/71 had one and didnt have a hole cut in his fire wall,

and on the pic /\ /\ why would you lighten those hinges, to be fully sick so it matchs his bov, intercooler and sports gear knob

Sorry for the hijack Chong, just wanted to show a serious box (the carby sits almost as far back as the handbrake IMHO). 8)

Chong, my inlaws have a painted S shell tucked away, with a very professional Weber box in the firewall. Swing by one weekend and take a look. I am there every weekend lately.

Hi,

What is the length of your manifold in inches? I would suggest you re-route all those wires!
