The GT stripes are VERY 70's. You wouldn't sell many cars today with bold stripes like that.

Each to their own. Back in the day it was a delete option, so you could have them removed. To me, they make a GT what it is. A 70's icon.

yeah i like em on some GT's but not on others, especially when they are really cheap and nasty reproductions..

i'm kinda undecided whether i'll put GT stripes on my mini, i dont want it to attract too much attention!
