Hay, it's not about the car, it's not about the venue, it's about the people that come here. Peter Dwyer, Mayor of Hay NSW.

In 94, my grandfather couldn't sell his Moke WITH rego for $400. It's been mine since, and is probably worth 10 times that now!

I was watching some antiques and collectables show on the abc with mum and dad the other night. and they had some auction item where the hosts on the show guess what it will go for. It was a little '63 vesper scooter, and it was etimated to sell for $6000-$8500. my mum's vesper of a similar year cost her a couple of hundred

Buy a GT now before they go through the roof.

A (real) Cooper S is now worth $15 000 on average. I reckon a few years back the average for an S was about $12 000. GT's are now doing the same 8) .The problem is.....they are few and far between.

I opened this thread up in a firefox tab and then went off to do something else. I came back and thought I was looking at a FS thread and got waaaaaaaaaaaay to excited at the thought of someone offloading hilos for that price (I realised what I was looking at just before I clicked the PM button).
