Hmmm, its an A Series grafted to Jap? gearbox and plonked in a larger car?? I say larger because there is a lot of room in there - can't be a Mini!! :shock:

Rear wheel drive by the looks but with an offset diff??...Austin 7!! :shock: :shock:

Yer funny thing is the engine is around the way with the spark plugs againts the baulkhead and the carb as a Very weird manifold with the carb back words :?:

Ok, a few clues.

It is not a 4wd.
It is not a Reliant.
It is not a bitsa! It is factory original.
It is not a MG Metro (they had a mini gearbox the same as a mini)
It is not a Jap gearbox.

I will give the win to kazjim! It is not a late Montego but it is an early Montego!

This is the car on the day I picked it up!

It is not fully standard as I have made the exhaust pipe out of a set of mini LCB extractors and I have pulled the electronics off the carby (Lucas computer)
