What's the wiper motor on the one with the big blue air-filter? It doesn't look like a Mini motor, or does it just have a cover on it?

Are there any other makes of wiper motor that can be used on a Mini?

Rick

I'm pretty sure it's ripple paint as it's the same as my ignition barrel which he gave me, which looks exactly the same and he said that he painted it in ripple paint. But of course yes ask him, I have that ripple paint too. Available from supercrap in a can. Other thing is why do people paint wiper motors? The plate bit polishes up really nicely! 8)

He was parked next to me so I had a look. It looks like a circle of aluminium that was screwed on form the other side. Must have lost the original centre caps or didn't like them, I didn't bother asking him about it tho.
