The injectors (3 now I think) are now positioned `well upstream'.
It worked poorly before with 2 in the ports.....

That's what I assumed. Sounds good!

yes he is running 3 injectors now, the 3rd only comes in on boost and load requirements, Hatech E6 ECU i think.

GR said it made half the powr of mine lower in the rev range but flogged mine at 7000k, he said it will make F all boost till about 4500 for some reason and it is a smaller turbo than mine, i have a feeling it is of a diesel and requires plenty of exhaust gas to spool it up.

Graham rang me this morning, they dialed it up to 16psi and got 244hp @7000 on about 176ft/lbs!!!. He said the torque was not dropping off so if the motor had not been build with a std mini crank, it would keep going over 8000 and still make more. Graham estimates 255hp at 8000rpm but they didn't take it to that.

The head gasket started to bubble at the back..

Way to go A series!

234 or 244?

244 is 183lbft

Can't get it to work using port injection? Maybe they need to find a tuner who can :P

yes well i do have the money for a good custom cooler now, i am still not sure where to put it, i was thinking of replaceing the grill with it. but i am not sure if it will look ok or just plain gaty and ruin the car, so i might even be fitting one in the drivers inner guard. the pipeing would be a little longer but still ok.

if i am lucky I will be able to get either my dad or brother to drive it down to a few places and get quotes and advice.

find somewhere else to put it mate, your car looks fantastic at the moment, defo dont put the cooler there!! :)

Man those are some killer figures!!!

Would love to see the injection setup. It seems like something I want to try (injector(s) up stream a bit).
