Not as silly as it sounds. BUT who has the time to do all the coordination. What we really need is a wrecking yard we can trust to do the right thing. If anyone was going to the UK or knew someone who was and had the time to find a wrecking source it could be a goer. It would give the retail trade the shivers thats for certain.

Put me down for a roll cage, coilovers or anything trick we don't get here. Serious, if you are keen to give it a go we can investigate whats involved with it. My wifes Aunty is a freight forwarder and they have an office in the UK.

I didn't hijack this post I'm just one of the 'extras' that stand at the back of plane with an oozie (spelling?) looking mean.

IMI Uzi. Israeli Military Industries Uzi. Also comes in MicroUzi, and MiniUzi. Usually in 9mm Parabellum form

Look like theyre cheap crap, but are anything but cheap.

H&K MP5's are a much better weapon, IMHO.

Uzi is named after the designer Uziel Gal. It was designed to be cheap and easy to make and use coz the Israelis needed to arm their forces fast (they had like 3 wars in the next 10 years). It became so popular coz its simple ideas that worked really well creating a very robust and reliable weapon. The gun is made around the world (mostly without a licence) in china, croatia etc so that makes it cheaper to buy (in fact your photo of a boyonet uzi might be of a croatian made gun).

Its not really right to compare the MP5 and the Uzi. One is a 50's design fabricated from heavy metal pressings and some plastics working on a simple blowback principle. It was mostly designed for frontline troop usage. The MP5 on the other hand is a G3 based 1980's design using an advanced roller-delayed blowback principle, made from light metal stampings and large ammount of plastics with interchangeable sub-group sections (so you can quickly swap the trigger\sights group etc). Its designed for special forces, police etc.
