Hey all I found my other box of goodies and found a twin manifold cam and crank amongst seized piston conrods timing casing etc...

the numbers I found on the:
*twin manifold was 12a309 P MOWOG
*camshaft had lumpy written on it couldn't see a number anywhere
*crank had 12g1505 and dh38ah P2 and 84
and the conrods I found had 121507/8A31

I've no idea what engine they come from or anything. If anyone could tell me what they are what engine their from anything at all about them I'd be interested to find out.

The crank is a 1275 big journal, from Morris 1100S or 1275LS, or maybe Morris 1300 automatic.

thanks doc...I was leaning towards it beig a big journal and makes sence its from either a 1275 LS or 1100S as most of my other spare parts are either of those two engines. As I have 1100 S in it atm and the original block etc from my car on the shelf. Thanks for the quick reply...

I particularly am Interesting in the manifold so if anyone has any idea on what mini it came from roughly that would be tops

Does ur manifold have this written on it?

exactly like that pic.... so defiantly ealy coopers thats cool. I keep finding all these spares. I had 2 boxes full plus several bags of stuff putt them all away when i got them with the car purchase and they get shifted around so it's a matter of putting them all together now.

So far I have a 1275 block, 2 x crank, 2 x cam, twin manifold, 1275 head, gerarbox, clutch and flywheel bits the list goes on. Anyways at least now I know I have a bit up my sleeve, in case i decide to buy another mini and use the parts i have to build another 1275 engine. Anyways thanks for your imput guys.

Thanks :!: :!: :!:

I was comparing both my cranks and did a bit of a search but it come up with diddly squat! So I was wondering if anyone could tell me the pro's con's of a 12A1451 Crank vs. a 12G1505???

well for starters 12A1451 is a 998 crank and a 12G1505 is a big journal A+ crank.
