i consider this a safety issue aswell as a road rage issue, i need L320mm and W180mm and H 120mm,

the mini is too low to have them underneth, the horns are too big to get them in the wheel cavity, i was thinking about hanging them from the bonnet on the structrual part on the drivers side, but might have an issue with that starter relay

cheers

Put 'em on the roof like a Mack truck

Seriously, they are pretty big... can you make a bracket for them to sit above the clutch cover and to the left of the engine. (Unless you have a booster.)

Turn them vertical and bolt to the left firewall (maybe move wiper bottle if its in the way)

Or, like you said, on the bonnet ... just replace the wiring and put something longer and use a tube that normally goes over the wire on the door speakers (sits in between the door and the car)

Cheers,
Peter.

I've fitted them in the drivers side guard of a clubbie , facing forward with the open end tucked in behind the headlight (not facing back as that's the direction the water comes from ) , on the bonnet support panel facing diagonally down and facing down and also on the drivers side inner guard between the subframe tower and the washer bottle or overflow tank if fitted there .

My Fiamms (ex Fiat 124S) fit nice in the LH arch, facing down and forward. Room for the Toyota washer and pump too. 8)

You could always mount them under the boot so people always glare at the car behind you for blasting the horn ....

I mounted mine using a self made bracket that bolted to the front end of the sub-frame. In the space between the engine and the sub-frame. Been there many years now and is functional

ps - its a clubby.

it kind of follows that same idea,

the idea about the horns was that i was in a carpark and a lady in a 4wd just zommed out in front of me, went to smash that horn botton off that idicator stalk and i hear,

2secs later after i pushed it" (mmmmeerrrrrr) very quietly sounded,

those are the type that need an external compressor. Do your self a favour get the $30 from Supercheapand because their seperate their heaps easier to fit under a wheel arch etc.

with those ones you need a compressor and a chamber, their basically off a truck, and need a nuch higher pressure than the ones off poopercheap

If you have a choice, avoid the plastic trumpets- metal ones sound heaps better. 8)
