That's a nice looking clubby you've got there 666, and well done with your engine change-over it's a tough slog sometimes for us inexperienced enthusiasts.

Its get easier as you learn.

It was easy for us who were playing with and racing minis back when they were plentiful and all mechanics knew how to work on them.

We could learn from some of the best. I have to say though, after nearly forty years of being around minis, that the supply of parts and materials is better now than it was back in the sixties and seventies. BMC and Leyland were a pretty austure company. They discouraged dealers from having larger parts inventory promising next day delivery but then found themselves out of stock and having to source it from interstate. Mail back then was a three day process even Sydney to Sydney.

I think participating in Ausmini garage days - like Harvey69's, Adeee and Scotty's and the up coming Rainbowpythons is an excellent way to gain knowledge and experience. Do go to them.

Mike, it certainly is getting easier, keep your helpful hints coming as I'm sure I'm not the only person sitting back quietly gaining from your knowledge.

And I will never complain about the time it takes to have parts delivered again.

666 well done on all this work, its not easy stuff to do on your own.

The car looks absolutely fantastic, can we have some more pics. I love the interior so some of them would be nice to see.
