Sounds like you've got a bit of work ahead of you but worth doing , put some pic's up of it if you can . Ask whatever questions you need about tidying the van up and we'll see what we can help you with .

I know where you're coming from Richard. When the wife bought Oscar back in the 70's he was painted blue with a white roof in brushed on house paint!!!!

jeez sounds like my deluxe too. White house paint all over with a brush. You can see where the brush left behind bristles, ffs!
SOmetimes i wish i could go back and slap the guy who did it. Its NEVER a good idea.

Although I don't post often, I do enjoy reading the information in this forum and have found it to be a useful source of reference. I am in awe of the depth of knowledge of some forum contributers and the effort some have put into restoring cars.
