Mmmmm didnt see that one before.....

Ive got a 998 (+.060) here in pieces for the race car..... not sure what bits to put inside it yet, whether I use the 544 race cam and high compression head....or Metro Turbo cam with the big head and the supercharger setup...... or a T3 size turbo.....

Actually, ive got a few 998's here..... but not enough gearboxes to fit to em. Could really build each 998 differently then choose one on the day....

Or maybe i wont do any of them, and just keep paying off the house

Now that would be some cruise BC, especially after a hard day out at Mt Cooper..

Maybe one day we can organise a gathering down this way for a Mini run???

I have had a 1.75 HS6 SU fitted to my 1030cc LS and it has certainly made a difference to the car.. Pulls away from start a lot smoother now and has given the motor just a bit more kick when accelerating...

Yep.. The HS6 has the bowl and linkages on the opposite side to the standard 1.5 and has 4 studs instead of two so I had to make up a new backing plate plus change the accelerator and choke cables over as well.

Since I am using the original air cleaner I had to get the elbow from the manifold modified to fit as well.

I've got a 998 sitting around with low compression, turbo cam, bit of a bore, bit of porting, some bigger valves, double springs, duplex chain, all the norm stuff. Just waiting to find the right forced induction setup.

Mine is complete Chris but still sitting on the garage floor awaiting installation. Still waiting for the old motor to perish before I change it out. However now I have 5 weeks off I might get it in. Initially I am running it in with a 1.5 SU but the S/C setup will go on once I have had it broken in. it is 30 over and has the roller 1.3 rockers, RE cam, Triger timing belt, balanced crank and light fly. The link kit will give me a bit of sport(seeing I bought it 5 years ago - maybe I should use it...)

Hoping it all goes well and go the small bores - scaring the other guys for 40 years...lol

Hooroo
