Yup I have some brake lines that run through the car. What I need to know are they meant to be there? Originaly I was going to rip them out as the car was a racer and I thought they put them in the car so they dont get ripped out on the track... But I was looking at them closely yesterday and now I think there meant to be there.

Mike

They did not run through the inside as standard mate, a lot of rally cars and race cars have them inside the cabin :D

Mike, maybe your car has a rally past to it, they run the brake lines, fuel line & batery cables through the car to prevent them being damaged by rocks etc.

Thats good then.. It means I can start ripping them out.... It has those soft steel tabs that are welded to the floor and they rap around the pipes to hold them in place, thats why I thought it was meant to be there...

Don't be too hasty, it may have works heritage to it.

Im not sure but I dont think saftey was Sue's biggest concern.. The drivers race seat is a high back mini seat with some holes cut into it where your shourders sit, and she had rigged up a few seat belts into a 4 point harness that fed through the holes they cut in the seat.. Anyway anyone recognise the car???
