The mileage (kilometreage?) isn't real, although on a mini over a certain age it makes little difference what the mileage is IMHO. Tidy car though, nicely modified but the front spoler isn't to my taste. Have to have a closer look really, and a drive. If you have only driven late model japanese cars, a mini will be a bit of a different experience - some of the technology goes back a long way...

looks pretty good to me. Maybe able to get a grand off it but definatly drive it before you buy. Only thing im not sure on are the '2 pot caliper disc brakes' not sure what these are off, dont think any mini had 2 spot.

cooper 's' are only 1 spot, so are hondas. maybe there of a metro??

Technically Cooper S are 2 pot as there's 2 pistons. 8.4s are 2 pot as well. Metro are 4 pot.

Brad, "S" Brakes use two pistons per caliper........(Front and back)
something like a Gemini or a Commodore uses one piston and a sliding plate to get the same (similar) effect.....

Maybe thats what they meant ?

It's got all the bits you would ever want on a Mini. 1275, disc brakes, twin tanks. 7000km is prolly since the engine build.

Go check it out mate, have a drive. I think it's a winner if ya can nock a little off the price!

As above but i Think 8k is a little much for a clubby. When you have a look take a magnet and a hankey and check for rust under the paint, lift the carpet and check for rust. you must have a drive first also.
Otherwise it looks like a nice Mini in the photo's :D

er....you will notice many differences between a '93 Civic and a 70's Mini. You shouldn't even try to compare.

That Clubby may well have 7000k's on the clock......the speedo has probably been round once.... Remember they only go up to 99 999 then back to 000000

Take it for a spin and see what you think, but I would drive a few before buying.

GOOD LUCK!

Market forces - most people prefer the better looking roundnose front.

Which means a roundnose of equivalent spec will fetch slightly more.

Maybe sad for Clubby owners, but a fact nonetheless! :D

Shields up! (Lets watch Ade jump on ths one!)
