Walking through the city today and saw a clubby van with the rego DRMINI, anyone know him? It seems such a shame cause this thing was idling about 3000 Revs and looked like it had more bog than metal - Ithink he should donate the plates to the well deserving doc.

Hey, my mum saw that one y'day as well..
but getting info as to what type it is is another story.
conversation goes:
"So what sort of mini was it mum?

Umm it was definately a mini, it was a van... i think

Was it a round nose or a clubman mum??

Umm i think it was just a mini, but it had DRMINI number plates.."

i do try to teach all those in my family but they just never learn.

My wife once examined a supposedly genuine UK 997cc Cooper and told the owner it was a fake as it had the wrong bootlid (narrow Aus numberplate type, not wide UK type) and it had the wrong roof gutter drain holes. (UK cars have pressed slots, Aus cars have two drilled holes). The owner was speechless.

I must have trained her well!

that's an outrage that someone has stolen our good Doc's identity.

Let's just hope this guy is building a show stopper, and is holding the plates on a 'runner' van until the project is finished. That might earn him back some respect!
