To the welders out there, would making the seat frame mount like the normal mini seat into the regular mini mounts (like the cobra seat frames do too) be much harder?
Would it raise the seat much?

Just having a look at these seats, and I cant seem to find 2 that match, there isnt a left and a right that match at all (on soldsmart that is).

been recently looking at these seats for my clubman...

my seats are really ripped everywhere......and wanted bucket seats anyway...

so quality seems ok from doogies comment... that was one of the main things i was worried about...

i am thinking of my mate making up some frames for boths sides so that if i ever get defected for not having them engineered i can just take the seats and mounts out and swap back to the originals for a little while...

are they too wide to fit two of them or are they an ok size...

cheers

i have similar seats as them in my mk1 project.

to fit i welded in another c section just behind the front 1 and bolted my rails straight o the 2 of them, they sit alot higher than standard mini seats because of the baulky rails, also ar ereally wide.

Not my problem, i'll be in the seat with the steering whell in front of it, thats why we have 3 other minis, kid can get in the back of them.
