Just stole a 72 clubbie off Camel. It has hydro suspension, why? Does everyone like my grammer now? (My wife is typing it for me!)

Because that's what they used then , it's as simple as that really . Mini's started as dry susp in Australia until the mid 60's , then went to hydro till 73 or so , then went back to dry .

Minivans stayed with dry suspension right through until Oz production ended in 1978.
Supposedly it's better for load carrying, but I'm about to convert one to hydro.
Why? Because I can, I have heaps of hydro bags, and I want it to ride nice. It's my wife's. 8)

Yeah, I prefer Hydro too. I tried to Hydro thr Moke, but there was nothing for the rear bumpstops to hit, as the inner guard is a different shape.

Maybe I'll hydro the Traveller. :?

If you want to carry stuff in back, fit comp hydro rear bumpstops. They are Aeon springs.... 8)

They did, actually. 8)
There was a (Mini?) BMC/Leyland tractor way back when, with a 948cc A series diesel in it. C/R 22.5:1.
It had around 16HP I think, not enough to part yer hair.

Matt Read, TheMiniMan still has a parts list...

The grammar is fine, now you just need to work on the spelling. (grammAR)
