Just remember, the larger the wheel, the more inertia the car has.

If you go to 13" wheels then in the interests of safety you really should have disc brakes (its not a legal requirement though) as drums will be working pretty hard to pull you up.

I think you can get away with it on 12" rims but its at about the limit.

Go 10" Cooper S steelies!!

Best looking rim ever for minis IMHO.

But, each to their own as they say.

13" are just too big, reduce performance and handling, and as Mike says above, put a lot more stress on the brakes. They also stress the rest of your suspension (lot of unsprung weight), so in general aren't a good idea.

If you have to go bigger than 10", 12 x 5 are probably the best compromise and still look very good.

Cheers
matt

12x5's both look good and still handle awesome, you probs have to get flares aswell though coz they may stick out of the guards jus a lil.
I just got 12x5 superlites not long ago n i love em!! :D

Sounds like a good buy builtbyj. I need new tyres for my 10's, but at that price may step up to 12's. Do they have them in stock?

(edit: They do come with caps + nuts - saw the site)
