Yeah he is known about the traps, a real find.

He is indeed looking at thinning down the collection, but wasnt ready to as yet.
I mentioned Ausmini and gave him my email address, so who knows.
No they wont got to waste, he actually saved them from wreckers over the years.

The red one is rather special yes..

EDIT: I didn't get to see the green, but there were other things under cover that I didn't see. I did just wander in off the streets you know (with bitumen melted to my feet) !

How can you trace the history of your car? Eg. Where it was sold, and to whom?

Yep , unfortunately unless you have the passport to service, or the drivers handbook , or a dealer sticker on the body (maybe rear window but it could have been changed in the last 40 or so years) or stumble across it's handbook somewhere there are very few ways of finding it out . Leyland took or destroyed the records involved so it's down to any of the former dealers who still have their books/notes etc .

Haha, you will have to wait until he wants to make it all known!
Maybe we could get a convoy of trailers.

It looks a lot like the guy and place that I nearly bought a mini from about 5 years ago when I first started looking. There were minis in sheds, some out in the open, some under makeshift covers.
Went out to look at a 63 but ended up being more interested in a K.In the end he didn't want to part with it.
I wonder if it is the same guy.
