i was grabbing some lunch near my parent's place at burpengary yesterday, and i saw a bloke trying to cool his little Mini down. it was a v v hot day yesterday. i went over and had a chat to him, and suggested checking out the forum here. his name was Eric, and he had been at the Noosa hill climb. this one is his daily runaround car. nice guy.

i see Minis everywhere - it's just whether i have my phone on me at the time to snap the evidence. I'll be sure to keep this thread alive though - I've never really approached another Mini owner before. See what you lot have me doing!

this bloke had an electric thermo fan on his radiator, which is surely going to be an essential mod for Mini owners in QLD in the coming years.

Will, yeah it's trailering.... u should see the size of it... this trailer would be no bigger than 1.5 x1 metre.... it's just hilarious!!!!!! the guy is an electrician so he carries a bit of stuff but not enough to warrant a larger trailer 8)

I have   , but usually they are nice to me and feel sorry
for me that i have to talk to strangers...(hey 68matic ill be your friend if
you still want one)

I have driven past some bloke in Asbury twice times now when
he has been working on two clubbies (one yellow the other green)
and it looks as though he is doing a thorough job on them, have been
tempted to stop the car and have a chat, but my senses come
over me, one day when i am real lonely like ill stop...

I know, i already have to fight the paparazzi off
everyday when they find out what a rare beast i
have got, they wants pics and interviews it gets
a little over whelming sometimes

Well i hope it comes up good, but i will speak to
this guy next time and get him to jump on line. from
now on i will talk to anyone with a mini, who knows
it may be one of you guys

straight after i posted in this thread last night, i went out to get dinner, and i see a Mini straight away! it was Orange and had gold decals, but I decided not to take a photo, 'cos a girl was driving, and she didn't look like she'd have appreciated it. it's ok to snap a Mini when you're in a Mini yourself, but doing it from another car, they have no idea what you're doing.
