Hay, it's not about the car, it's not about the venue, it's about the people that come here. Peter Dwyer, Mayor of Hay NSW.

Why no seatbelts in the back???

Shame the front seats and door trims don't match the rear seat :o

Lovely colour though.

The cars were brought in fully built up, so included all the bits and pieces, including rear belts. This car has different front seats - may be out of Clubby S - and the honeycomb rear seats are from another car as well - maybe out of the same later Clubby. No GT gearknob and incorrect boot badge. Engine looks correct, but will get numbers from the guy. All that being said - it is a bargain for the money he's asking. Someone's going to get a nice tidy car.

also looks to be on dry suspension as no hydro pipes. look like bigger carbs as well. the back seats are from an earlier clubman gt - 71 model i reckon - as they changed to non-basket weave in 72.

still would like it though!

cheers!

hmmmm, dry....keen eye you have!
seatbelts were probably lost in the great faded-seatbelt scandle of "99 (ish) where faded seatbelts were declared enemys of the state, and persicuted by "vehicle inspection technitions" nationwide!
cars pre 79 in NZ do not require rear belts, so may have been removed.
