ok now im frustrated what colour on a 78 mini would the aux or accessory wire be - trying to wire a sterio

it was working but the wire was just jammed between the connector plug 5 points where the ignition is and it came out a bit and then stopped working but when i jiggled worked again so i assume thats why the HU is not comming on

just wire the "sterio' to the fuse box.

but how do you know which wire it goes to i dont have a multi tester
can i run the wire there and just touch the wire on the connections of the fuse boxes and it will power up the HU

Buy a 10 cent circut tester from supercheap, it will light up when u find 12v when the key is turned to ACC.
