After working out the number plates on Steve & Mikey's Riley elf, i've seen the car a thousand times, what other plates do people have, i know of most of the BMC 69S etc etc, and Aaron has his NAV 850 on his van. I have on hold at the RTA my AMK 11S plates for my MK2 Cooper S.

Currently debating on whether to get OMN170 plates cos that is about all that remains up here (reads O Mini 70). $255.00 on Black and White Retro Plates. The Other option is to get "SLIDEY" but that will set me back $2195.00

Dunno about OMN170......do you guys think that people (and mini people) will get it???????

I've got UX 981 on my van, which dad gave me, it's an original 1950 plate that came off a morris minor he got - no mini significance, the plates (actual metal thingies that screw on the car) are the 1950 issued jobbies

a few weeks ago I saw (NSW - yellow plate) QIK 998 on a late model laser - obviously an RTA assigned one that has no significance to the owner

a few months ago in Albury I saw (NSW - yellow again) COOPER on..... a mid 90's rodeo ute :( I shoulda followed the guy and offered him a grand for it and see who wants to quadruple that for me (can't use them cos I live in Victoria and don't want to pay the insane yearly blue slip + rego + yearly plate fee + whatever fees the RTA makes you poor buggers pay)

anyone who is curious about the ONE OFF fees for custom plates in VICTORIA

3 letters, 3 letters + 1 number, 3 letters + 2 numbers - $415

OR

4 letters, 4 letters + 1 number, 4 letters + 2 numbers, 5 letters, 5 letters + 1 number, 6 letters, 6 numbers - $310
